| 6 Mar 2007 | Anne Wipf | I love the colours and the Art Nouveau style. Alicea Rea Tresidder replies: "my neuvo attempt was successfull then? I am glad!" | |
| 6 Mar 2007 | Lisa Eakin | Think it's a very lovely picture. And I just love her hair and the whole serene feeling you get when looking at it. Her breasts do seem to be a bit too spaced apart from eachother.. but really other than that... it's perfect. Alicea Rea Tresidder replies: "I drew this from a photo and, tho you may not believe it (i didnt when i red this comment and so went to check my reference picture to be sure), It is accurate to the photo. Someone commented once that her breasts were walleyed... LOL... oh well..." | |
| 7 Mar 2007 | AlpineBob | Vrey nice! I like her hair - it reminds of ocean waves! Alicea Rea Tresidder replies: "yes, water was my goal when developeing her hair. Again, cycles of moon, water, blossoming, seeding, dying... truth we stray from in industrialized society." | |
| 14 Jun 2007 | Crazyclur | A lovely picture! Have you ever considered doing it in glass paints or semi-permanent (peel off) paints? I think it would suit them perfectly. One recommendation- if you do it again make sure the curved lines are crisp as they seem to be a little blurred. I don't think this detracts from the piece, but it would emphasize them more if they were clearer. Other than that it's great; I especially like your use of medium (this coming from the world master of being rubbish with paint). Keep up the good work! | |
