SciFi and Fantasy Art: 'Lilly Love' Colored

Of water and sun, she nourishes all growing things, but loves her lillies most.

Here she is in color- finally! Again, inspired by mucha,as so much is. I am really happy with her form and shading but was so dissatisfied with the moon I cropped most of it out. I will do another version later without the moon entirely... maybe framed or just the sunbursts escapeing the frame of her hair. Tell me what you think!

Her breasts do seem to be a bit too spaced apart from eachother.. but really other than that... it's perfect. Alicea Rea Tresidder replies: "I drew this from a photo and, tho you may not believe it (i didnt when i red this comment and so went to check my reference picture to be sure), It is accurate to the photo. Someone commented once that her breasts were walleyed... LOL... oh well..."

14 Jun 2007	Crazyclur	Loading... A lovely picture! Have you ever considered doing it in glass paints or semi-permanent (peel off) paints? I think it would suit them perfectly. One recommendation- if you do it again make sure the curved lines are crisp as they seem to be a little blurred. I don't think this detracts from the piece, but it would emphasize them more if they were clearer. Other than that it's great; I especially like your use of medium (this coming from the world master of being rubbish with paint). Keep up the good work!
